Where do I begin, where do I start? Of how God came through for us, making this event a complete success, to His glory. Amazing, truly amazing. I could go on and on, about everything that happened… But really, this event is for the giver, not for the blessings he has showered. If something is truly in line with God’s objective, won’t He want it to succeed even more than you yourself do? After all, He is the one that births a compassion for the lost inside us, He is the one that wants the people to come back to their first love. Again, I could go on and on. But lets just say…God is good and faithful! All the time(:

Prodigal

This song came out from a time where I felt so unworthy of Gods forgiveness. I felt that I had hurt God over and over and could not comprehend how God accepts back again and again. I told everyone the song meant a lot to me cos my whole life, I was the prodigal son. Prodigal means wasting something given in abundance. I was blessed all my life, given beyond what any one could ask for. Yet I rejected it all, I was not even grateful for my parents God blessed me with who showered me with love. Therefore I was like the prodigal son, feeling so unworthy when I stood at redemptions doorstep. Not only was I accepted with wide open arms, I was crowned…

When you love someone, you wish that someone will feel the exact same way about you. And its not always the case. And love is when no matter what the person does to hurt you, you’re still gonna love the person the same. I wrote this song and sang this song on behalf of someone, someone who felt that exact same way about you and me.

the Fathers Pain

What is emphasized here, is not the physical pain, but the emotional pain Jesus went through. Taking the sins, burdens, sicknesses and death upon himself. And He had to do it alone, even His father in heaven had to turn away from him. What agony, what agony. But there was no other way…

Redemption

What you heard was just the bridge of this song, but im gonna put the whole song up anyway. First the sinner ‘God if you hear my cry! Come help me, come save me…’ but at the end it was Jesus who was shouting ‘God, if you hear my cry! Help me, save me’ when he was on the cross. This signifies the transference of our sin and pain from ourselves to Jesus. The ultimate price was paid.

A quiet prayer

This song comes deep from my heart. It’s an honest and real outcry, from a friend to another friend. The things of the world, pleasures and wealth gives you happiness that is temporary, but the joy of Jesus Christ is permanent, and will stay with you forever. I’ve rejected this love over and over, and once lived for no one but myself, leading a life without purpose. But there is no greater joy, then coming back to this love..

What Last Friday Was For

This is gonna be the first time i share my songs publicly on such a big scale. Through this event, me and my band is gonna share how the cross has changed us, through our music and through our lives. Its gonna be exciting! This is not a rehearsed preaching session, its REAL, neither is it a performance; it will not display the bands strength, but its weakness, its weakness without God and our relience on Him.


To FCBC ppl:
How timely everything is, the whole month of seeking God..what ideal preparation for this event. Keep us in prayer yea! Through this month, ive decided not only to abstain from lunch(i try..), com games and tv, but also, i am putting off writing music. Its time to focus on the giver of the songs and not the songs. Anyway,i ts only when the relationship is set right, where the songs can start to flow.. Lord, break us, break our hearts again
