Only by Grace..

Every human is unique. Each having different mindsets, attitudes, characters, perceptions, environments.. We create conflict, for we dont understand each other, we dont understand how another can think so differently from ourself. Thus we harbour much bitterness to each other, most of the time judging others for their wrong doings. But who are we judging? when were all sinners the same, and clinging to the grace of God. Who are we judging when we all fall short when we face the true judge Himself. Yes, we must correct the sin and the wrong in this world, but we must remember to condemm the sin and not the sinner.. Have you been in a situation where youve been completely wronged by someone, when you yourself did nothing wrong? Well its probably an incy bit (too small to describe) of what Jesus when through. Did NOTHING wrong, yet completely hated by the world he came to save.. It isnt easy, learning to love like He did.

Saving me

When you stretch your hand to touch a life, is your life not touched by it as well? When you walk the extra mile to help someone, are you being helped in the process as well? When God sends us to bless someone, I believe He is also sending that someone to bless you. Many have realised that being a blesser means being blessed as well. The bible says: Refresh others, and you yourself will be refreshed. What an absolutely true fact. I sometimes think, serving in a ministry is for THEIR sake, is for the purpose of helping THEM. But I realise, serving has saved me, has helped me so much, has given ME joy, everything i want to offer the ministry i receive it myself. What an honour what a blessing what a privilegde it is! Quoting main character evaines words from the movie stardust; "Love is unconditional, uncontrollable, unbearable.. Its like my heart belongs to you, and ill give it to you, asking for nothing in exchange, only that you love me the same way" I have to agree her words, not only in the way mankind loves each other, but isnt it a good description of Gods love for us? Afterall, mankind can only love each other becos God loved in the first place, and all love comes from God afterall. But what love is more unconditional, more unbearable, more true than that of the Father in Heaven? Who came down to die, asking for nothing in exchange? even when we sin against Him over and over, even when we fall short of His grace, He still loves us all the same..for theres nothing we can exchange for his love, but all He ask is that we love Him back. The Gift of Life

Havent updated a lot since work came into the picture. I got into the 5day work wk mind set..where friday is the best day and monday is the worst. Im sure its like that for most of us whether be it school, army or work. But this cant be right isnt it? God didnt create the monday blues its certainly not what He wants. We should constantly remind ourselves about how every breath is a gift from God and how we should rejoice in everything. Its a good practise to 'force' yourself to start the day by thanking God for as many things you can think of, it really works wonders, especially for days where you just cant get out of bed. Let the joy of the Lord be our strength and our delight in Him(: This is so not an emo song..haha
Lord how can I keep from singing your praise? How can I ever say enough, of how amazing is Your love

In the times of trouble, has God temperarily abandoned us? Has He left you on your own awhile until He comes and blesses you again? No, if theres something that comforts me, its the knowledge that God is in the battle with me; through my struggles, when youre hurting, when youre prosecuted, when youre struck down, when youre alone and crying out...God is there...and He will never leave you nor forsake you. We feel that Hes far, but hes actually there with you, what we have to do, is find Him. Have you found God in your battle? Its something really amazing... Claim His promise today: You will seek Me and you will find me, if you seek me with all your heart (great verse! Jer 29:12-14)

This song is a simple meditative piece sang to God. We far too many times fail to acknowledge God for everything He has given us, and not uncommon to find it unthinkable to be able to surrender everything to Him, giving your whole life to Him. But we fail to realize, everything is God-given, so what we surrender is His already, what we give is given to us at first from His hand. We often think giving to God will mean sacrificing relationships that mean so much to you, sacrificing happiness, but we yet again fail to realize that even how much good you get out of a friendship, how happy you are is determined by God as well. This has been a struggle for me..and im sure it is for many...to really say to God "Everything is Yours", but Lord who are we to say what is Yours?Who are we to give what is Yours to begin with?

How much is too much to give You Lord? There is simply no answer to this question for nothing is ours to give anyway. Like David said in the bible "But who am I, that I should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from You, and we have given You only what comes from your hand"

God, today I acknowledge You for everything; my life, my redemption, my family, my friends, my relationships, my school/work, my music, everything I hold dear, the things that matter so to me, EVERYTHING.
